Linking bank accounts

Adding a New Bank Account

1. Navigate to the Wallet Section

Open the app and go to the Wallet section from the main menu. This is where you can manage all your linked accounts and payment methods.

2. Initiate Adding a New Account

Tap Add Account to begin linking a new bank account to your wallet.

3. Select “Add New Account”

From the menu that appears, choose Add New Account. This will start the setup process for a new bank connection.

4. Choose Country and Bank

Select the country where your bank account is based. Then, choose your bank from the list provided and press Next to continue.

5. Connect Your Account via Open Banking

Tap Connect Account to be redirected to the secure Open Banking gateway. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by your bank to safely link your account.

WollettePay Registration

Step 1

1. Register to Activate WollettePay

Open the app and navigate to the WollettePay registration section to begin the activation process.

2. Agree to Terms of Use

Read the Terms of Use carefully and select Agree to continue.

3. Enter Personal Details

Provide your first name, last name, date of birth, gender, phone number, address, and nationality. Double-check that all details are accurate.

4. Add Source of Funds

Select your source of funds from the drop-down menu: Cash, Card, or Other.

5. Enter Initial Deposit

Input the amount you wish to deposit initially and select the currency code.

6. Provide Employment Information

Enter your occupation, industry, and employment status. This information helps comply with regulatory requirements.

7. Select Tax Residency

Choose your tax residency. If you have U.S. citizenship, indicate Yes or No. Enter your Tax Identification Code if applicable.

8. Select Purpose of Account

Choose the purpose of your WollettePay account from the drop-down menu: POS Checkout, Online Payments, Business Expenses, Personal Expenses, Savings, or Investments.

9. International Payments (if applicable)

Indicate whether you will receive international payments. Provide the income amount and the income currency if applicable.

10. Set Minimum Top-Up Value

Enter the minimum amount required for topping up your account.

Step 2

1. Review Your Details

Carefully check all the information you entered during Step 1, including personal, employment, tax, and account details.

2. Confirm Accuracy

Tick the box to confirm that you have reviewed all details and that they are correct.

3. Complete Registration

Click on ”Let’s go” to proceed and complete the WollettePay registration process.

External Integration

1. Complete Verification

Use your face verification and ID verification as prompted by the app to confirm your identity.

2. Verification Confirmation (Internal)

After submitting your documents, you will see a screen that says “Await Onboarding Completion.” This indicates that your details are being reviewed internally.

3. Successful Onboarding Once your information has been checked and approved, the screen will update to show Success.

4. If Onboarding Fails If the onboarding process is unsuccessful, contact support using the button provided on the screen for assistance.

Tip: Make sure your ID is valid and clearly visible, and that your face verification is done in good lighting to avoid delays in onboarding.
