How do I deactivate a category?
If a category is no longer required for your store, you can deactivate it in the Merchant Dashboard. This helps keep your inventory organised and simplifies product navigation for your staff.
1. Navigate to the categories menu
- Navigate to the Categories menu either from the side bar or from the settings menu.
- You can also add the Categories menu to the side bar in the settings menu. This will take you to the list of existing product categories.
2. Select the Category to delete
- Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the category you want to deactivate.
- Click the three dots to deactivate the category then confirm that you would like to delete the category.
- The category will be deactivated from further use.
