Regularly reviewing your stock data helps ensure that your inventory is correct, avoids discrepancies at checkout, and supports better ordering and reporting.
1. Navigate to the branch
From the Merchant Dashboard, navigate to the Stock menu then select the branch you want to check the stock count for. Click the Stock tab which will display the product list for the branch.
2. Review quantities and stock status
Scan through the product list to check that stock quantities are shown for each item. Check for any unexpected zero quantities or unusually high counts and check accordingly. This provides a quick overview of any potential errors or mismatches.
3. Cross-check with physical stock count
For accuracy, compare the digital stock record with a physical stock take. You can do this periodically or during stock takes to identify any gaps or errors.
