How do I rename or edit a category?
Wollette Merchant Dasboard allows you to edit existing product categories so you can update names, descriptions, images, or language settings as your business needs change. Any updates in the Merchant Dashboard will automatically sync with POS.
1. Navigate to the categories menu
Navigate to the Categories menu either from the side bar or from the settings menu. You can also add the Categories menu to the side bar in the settings menu. This will take you to the list of existing product categories.
2. Select the Category to edit
Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the category you want to edit. Click the three dots and edit to edit the category.
3. Edit Category details
From the category detail screen, you can:
- Rename the category
- Update the description
- Add or edit the language label
- Add or change the image (max 1mb) Make the necessary changes, then tap Done to save the changes.
The updated category will reflect across relevant terminals and product layouts.
