Exiting a terminal

If you need to switch terminals or simply exit your current session without shutting down the POS, Wollette allows you to return to the terminal selection screen.

To exit the terminal you are logged into:

  • Click the exit button on the top right (tablet) or bottom right (mobile). Then click "Exit". Clicking "Log out" will log you out of the POS completely.
  • You will then be taken back to the terminal log in screen, where you can log in again or to select a terminal and log in as prompted.

You can also log out of the POS by clicking "Log out" instead of "Exit".

Tip

  • Always exit properly to avoid session conflicts or data loss.
  • Never force close the app or power off the device mid-session.
  • If you’re unsure whether a session needs to be closed before exiting, check merchant admin.
