Creating a branch
Add a new shop, site or location to your Wollette account so you can sell, hold stock and report on it separately.
Before you start: You need to be signed in as a merchant administrator, and you'll be asked to confirm your account password. If you're on the pay-as-you-go plan you can have one branch only, so Add branch disappears once your first branch exists.
Where to find it: Sidebar → Branches → Add branch
Steps
- Open Branches in the left sidebar.
- Click Add branch at the top right of the page. If you don't have any branches yet, the same button appears in the middle of the empty page.
- Confirm it's you.
- The Add branch window opens. Fill in the branch's name, contact details, address and locale settings. See the field reference below.
- To fill the address quickly, type into Address and pick your address from the list — First line, State/Province, County/City, Town and Post code are filled in for you. You can still edit any of them afterwards.
- Click Save.
Nothing is checked while you type. Validation messages only appear once you press Save, so if the window doesn't close, scroll through the form and look for red messages under the fields.
To abandon the branch, click Cancel or the close icon.
What happens next
A Branch created window confirms "Your branch was created successfully", with two buttons:
- Manage branch — takes you straight to the new branch's page, where you can add admins, clerks, terminals and stock.
- Close — returns you to Branches.
Either way the new branch now appears as a card on the Branches page. Its Branch number is assigned by Wollette automatically; you don't choose it.

The country is taken from your account and can't be changed here.
